Broadmeadow Station is being upgraded as part of the Transport Access Program, a NSW Government initiative to provide a better experience for public transport customers by delivering accessible, modern, secure and integrated transport infrastructure.
Three new lifts located at Platform 2/3, Brown Road entrance and Graham Road entrance
New weather protection canopies at the station entrances and on Platform 2
Re-configuration of the station entrances on Brown and Graham roads
Upgraded security features including lighting and CCTV camera surveillance
Improved wayfinding signage, including tactile signage for vision-impaired station users
Footpath upgrades in the vicinity of the station entrances on Brown and Graham roads
A new electrical substation on Brown Road and power upgrades
The upgrades to Broadmeadow Station deliver improved platform accessibility for customers, as well as better weather protection, security, lighting and wayfinding signage.
